Prior to real estate, he served in education, sales, fashion, social and employment services working with the disabled under the workforce investment act for Goodwill Industries. he owned a vintage & antiques store - now solely online. He is also a visual artist. he grew up in el sereno, montebello, and boyle heights. he attended LAMusArt. where he served as a member of the young professionals advisory board. he studied art in guadalajara, Mexico and then attended Otis College, of Art & Design where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
